To view the Project Ben-Yehuda web site you should use the Mozilla browser, version 1.1 and up. The borowser is available for Mac OS 9, MacOS X and above, but not for Mac OS 8 and older.
The browser can be downloaded here: http://www.mozilla.org/releases. Choose the appropriate version for your operating system; the page contains links to several downloadable versions, and versions whose names end with a letter are not final releases.
If the installation file doesn't run automatically after the download is complete, open it with StuffIt Expander. In Mac OS 9, you get an icon of the installer, which you start and proceed as instructed. In Mac OS X, you get a disk icon, from which you can drag Mozilla into the Applications folder, or to any other place you fancy.
There are no additional settings required for Mac OS X.
On Mac OS 9, go on to define Hebrew fonts. Start Mozilla and choose Preferences from the Edit menu. In the left part of the window that is opened navigate to Appearance, Fonts, and then in the right part click choose Fonts for: Hebrew. In the following font menus (Serif, Sans-serif, Cursive etc.) choose a Hebrew font, such as Arial Hebrew. If instead of font names you see question marks, you can still use trial and error to find a font that works. Alternatively, you could try installing Arial Hebrew, whose name always appears in Latin letters, and which is available for download from the Yeda site: http://www.yeda.co.il/mozilla/HB%20Arial.sit. (After downloading the file and unpacking it with StuffIt Expander, drag the font into the Fonts folder--located inside the System folder--and restart Mozilla.)
